Thomas Barnay

Thomas Barnay is Full Professor of Economics at University Paris-Est Créteil. He is Research Fellow at Érudite (Research Team on Use of Personal Data linked to the Economic Theory).

He is Founder and Head of the Master's Degree in Health Economics of the University Paris-Est Creteil. His research topics focus on Health (Disability, Cancer, Mental Health) and Labour Economics, Working Conditions, Care access, Economics of Elderly and Long-term care, Economics of Handicapped and Retirement.
He is also Elected Member of Directors Board of the French Economic Association.

From 2012 to 2015, he was Scientific Advisor to the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and previously General Secretary of French Health Economist Association (2006-2012).
